Our Burgundy on the Beach evening takes place on Wednesday 18th April and is a must for any foodie wishing to sample the best of West Cork Produce paired with stunning wines from the Burgundy Region.
This very special evening includes a 5 course dining experience in the Gulfstream Restaurant, paired with wines from Maison Louis Jadot, overnight accommodation and breakfast the following morning, as well as access to the heated Seawater Therapy Pool, Hammam and Relaxation Areas.
Head Chef at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, Adam Medcalf and his team will be creating a delicious menu to perfectly compliment the fine wines of Maison Louis Jadot. Menus at Inchydoney are full of locally sourced ingredients too, celebrating individuals and businesses in the area who have the same commitment to excellence and showcasing the finest local talents on the plate. Dishes will include wonderful local ingredients like Atlantic crab, Macroom buffalo mozzarella, Irish beef from Coolcower in Macroom, oysters from Oysterhaven and new season rhubarb.
The dining experience will include wines from the Burgundy region in France, which will be introduced by host Marie-Pierre Dardouillet, Export Director with Maison Louis Jadot .Maison Louis Jadot owns over 60 hectares of vineyard, many of them premier and grand cru, and is headed up by one of the most respected winemakers working in Burgundy today, Jacques Lardière.
